lunch in Colorado

I was not expecting this, I have been travelling all morning back in the snow. As soon as I got into the mountains it started to rain and then to snow, as I climbed higher the snow grew worse, the landscape was all snow, this was no exceptional , for about two hours I drove in the snow. Then I entered another valley with no snow on the ground and no snow from the sky. This lay between the Mesa Verde on the north, a huge high plain, covered with vegetation, and the indian reservation on the south. Having Lunch in a lovely general store and food place in Cortez and then heading further west towards the Monument Valley.
